[:nl]Het jaarlijkse Kersenbloesem Festival in Amstelveen werd gehouden op zaterdag 11 april jl. ‘The cherry blossom represents both a new beginning and the fragility of life’. De vereniging JIN was uitgenodigd een vertegenwoordiger te sturen. Hideko trof ook Namiko daar en de Japanse ambassadeur was zo vriendelijk met beiden op de foto te gaan. Op het programma: speeches, Yamato Taiko Drums, Japanese Choir of Amsterdam, Japanese Harp Ensemble, and a closing act by Yamato Taiko Drums. It was a bit chilly and rainy wheather but the Cherry Blossoms were lovely.

The JIN Association was invited to send a representative. Hideko met Namiko there and the Japanese ambassador was so friendly to let take a picture together. It was a bit chilly and rainy but the cherry blossoms were lovely and the crowd was very friendly.
